Pack plenty of food, water, diapers, bullets, and a spare tire. It's time for a Family Road Trip!
Family Road Trip simulates the agony of being the driver of a family road trip, but with incentives to make the drive more interesting.
Your car has a working radio, and you can buy albums in each town that you can play and switch tracks, etc. All local music, and it's all great!
Every wreck causes damage to your car, which slows you down. Get a tuneup in town to get back to 100% max speed. Raise your max speed with upgrades.
...or go slow, sleep in nice hotels, and take a bit longer getting there a different way. Each play-through is different depending on your choices, and random chance.
Watch out for the other cars, avoid getting fined by the police, and stay on the road.
..or smash through them all, and go for the fastest time possible! Police can only go so fast, right?
Upgrade to make your car brake and accelerate faster, making it more maneuverable, or save your money for extra nitros.
Along the way you will run into garage sale signs, hunting spots, and hitchhikers that can help (and possibly hinder) you.
Different towns have special features. Some towns have Thrift stores, with random items for your car for cheaper than anywhere but garage sales. Town 5 is a casino, and you will need to earn tickets to get your supplies.
Pull over to the side of the road, or wait till you come to a town (or other stopping points) to change the diaper and/or comfort the baby.
Drive safely and earn insurance rebates, or drive fast and ramp over the cops before you try and outrun them. The choice is yours.
On Mobile:
Swipe and tap to play. It's intuitive, just swipe to change lanes, use nitros, hit the brakes. Touching the screen makes the car go faster. There are in-game directions for mini-games.
On Windows:
Controller, keyboard, mouse all work, no need to switch anything around.
Tab opens the stereo menu, as does the select button, or just clicking on the stereo.
Shift, or one of the buttons on the controller use your nitro. Also a left swipe, if you have Swipe turned on.
Control, the middle mouse button, tapping the big coin in the upper right, or a controller button launch coins, if you have the right equipment.
Hunting, LOBBYI$T, and the casino have an overhead view, and you can move with WASD. In Hunting and LOBBYI$T, the arrow keys, or mouse shoot. Gamepad controls are versatile. Swipe to move on touchscreen. Swipe to shoot in LOBBYI$T.
Start on the controller, or "P" on the keyboard pauses the game.

F3+v: Garage sale
F9+v: Hitchhiker

Could you also implement an autosave for when arriving at a gas station or city? I lost a lot of progress because of that bug (And I forgot to save, but great game non the less).

Thanks for the bug report! I'll get that fixed for next upload.
The gambling is the only playable game in the arcade so far (~v5.00) besides relaxing to lose some STRESS points. Lobbyist was the game I made while learning this language (GML) and I will add a lot to it after the rest is done. (Stage 2: The Democrats is coming. Then some sort of Boss battle) For now it's on the backburner, but it and another game will be playable in the future, as well as a game called Quest Warrior that you can now buy in the first gas station, that is also not yet implemented, but will be playable while driving, as an added option for advanced players. These three games will be part of a larger story line I'm planning, inspired by my brother's second place finish at the state level Blockbuster Videogame Championship of my youth. You will need to win the regionals at the arcade in Forrence (town 4), and then the championship later. Still so much to do!
